Artkvarta is a handmade stained glass shop creating jewelry, home decor, and interior glass pieces entirely by hand, using the traditional Tiffany copper-foil technique. Since 2008, we’ve combined this timeless glasswork method with original, often unconventional designs — from delicate earrings to bold statement decor.
Every piece in our shop is individually handcrafted in our studio in Covilhã, Portugal, using high-quality glass, copper, and eco-friendly tin. No two pieces are ever perfectly identical, which is part of what makes handmade glass art special.
Our Story
Artkvarta started as a small workshop focused on exploring the possibilities of stained glass. Over time, it evolved into a professional creative studio producing:

Every item is made manually — every cut, foil wrap, and solder joint is completed with attention to detail. We do not work with mass production; each piece is an individual creation.
Our Creative Process
We work with premium stained glass sheets, lead-free solder, and durable metal finishes to ensure our pieces are as long-lasting as they are beautiful. Each item is cut, shaped, and soldered by hand — a process that takes patience, precision, and years of practice to master.
